Have I heard of any of these No. Do I want to read at least five of them? Yes! :D

Wow, a ton of titles I haven't heard of yet! Thanks for joining in with your list. :)

All new to me too!

Oh my goodness, someone else who loves both _Not a Swan_ and _In Lane Three, Alex Archer_! I love Michelle Magorian and Tessa Duder so much that I've ordered other books of theirs directly from the UK and NZ.

I've felt that way about a lot of books, Susan.

I'm sure I'll have the same reaction when I go through everyone else's lists - so far I haven't had a chance to do more than bookmark them for future reading.

Erin, I had to order Songs for Alex from Canada because it was never released in the US, and I *had* to find out what happened. My local library gets all the credit for introducing me to Duder and Magorian in the first place. (along with my middle school quasi-memorization of My Sister Sif!)

Yea, I'm the same way--I read Duder and Magorian in my local library first.

And I also loved My Sister Sif!

Which, btw, is why the new library trend for hyper-assertive weeding upsets me. Yes, it probably does improve overall circulation, but how are nerdy kids going to discover obscure out-of-print books (and become the people who agitate for them to be brought back into print) if libraries don't have them?

I know it probably makes me a bad librarian that I feel this way, but what the hell--I never actually went to library school anyway.

Loved this! Movie wasn't too bad either. Also loved 'Finnikan of the Rock'.

I've been meaning to read Honey Blonde Chica forever. Thank you for the reminder!

Sarah, I'm planning a giveaway on my blog for the top 12 most obscure unsung YA picks. Not a Swan made the list, but I'm having a little bit of trouble tracking down a copy. Do you happen to have a copy you'd be willing to part with?

Glad to hear it, Susan! (There's a sequel, Scandalosa, that I haven't read yet... one of these days.)

Sorry, Kelly, but I discovered it at my library. I think it's also been released under the title A Little Love Song, if that helps. (Side rant: why is so little of Michelle Magorian's work in print in the US? Come on, Harper Kids!)
